From everyday GP appointments to longer-term care plans, we provide whole-person healthcare for all ages — with listening first, clear explanations, and thoughtful follow-through.
Whether you’re feeling unwell, managing an ongoing condition, or simply need advice you can trust, we take the time to listen. You’ll have space to talk things through, understand what’s happening, and work together on clear next steps and treatment options that feel right for you.
Your health needs change over time, and we’re here to support you at every stage. We provide respectful, evidence-based care across contraception, reproductive health, cervical screening, and perimenopause and menopause support and beyond, with in depth discussion and shared decision-making.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low or under pressure, you’ll find a calm, supportive space to talk. We listen without judgement and provide care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and grief, including structured mental health plans where appropriate.
Men’s health is about more than a single concern. We offer thoughtful, evidence-based care at every stage of life — whether you’re focusing on preventative health, managing ongoing conditions, or addressing physical or mental health concerns — with time to talk things through and clear, practical guidance.
Whether you’re planning a trip or keeping up to date with routine vaccinations, we offer travel health advice, required vaccines and ongoing immunisation support for all ages. Our nursing team works closely with your GP to make the process clear, efficient and reassuring.
We offer supportive antenatal care for expectant parents, with time to discuss questions, monitor health and plan next steps throughout pregnancy. Whether you’re accessing shared care, hospital-based or obstetrician-led care, you’ll have ongoing GP support. We focus on clear communication, continuity and care that feels reassuring at every stage.
Preventative care is about staying well, not just treating illness. We support you with regular health checks, screening reminders and proactive advice that fits your stage of life, helping you look after your health with clarity and confidence over time.
As health needs change with age, continuity and familiarity become increasingly important. We provide compassionate, coordinated care for older patients, supporting independence, managing complex health needs, and working closely with families, carers and other services to ensure care remains respectful and connected.
When specialist care or additional support is needed, we arrange detailed referrals and help coordinate shared care with trusted specialists and local services. We aim to stay involved, communicate clearly, and support you through the process so care feels connected rather than fragmented.
Extra support, close to home — without losing the personal care.

Melanoma Masters at Samford Valley Medical Centre provides dedicated skin cancer care, offering thorough skin checks, early diagnosis and evidence-based treatment in a calm, supportive environment.
All Melanoma Masters Doctors hold at least a Masters Degree in skin cancer ensuring patients can expect genuine expertise.
The service focuses exclusively on skin cancer assessment and management, allowing extra time and specialised attention for patients requiring monitoring or treatment. Care includes comprehensive skin examinations, biopsy and surgical management of skin cancers, along with ongoing surveillance and prevention planning. Clear communication and a strong focus on early detection ensure patients understand their results, treatment options and next steps.
The service is led by Dr Chris Robinson, a Specialist General Practitioner with advanced training in skin cancer medicine. Dr Robinson has completed a Master’s degree (Distinction) in Skin Cancer Medicine (UQ), is a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College Australia (FSSCA), works as a Senior Lecturer in Skin Cancer Medicine at UQ, is a published author in the field of skin cancer and is a member of a skin cancer research team at Southern Cross University.
Dr Robinson works as a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) in the Department of Dermatology at the Princess Alexander Hospital. In this role Dr Robinson undertakes complex surgical repairs (flaps and grafts) for skin cancer patients.
Dedicated perimenopause and menopause appointments are available with Dr Michelle Ledbury, offering extra time, clarity and evidence-based support through midlife health changes. Michelle’s approach to women’s health in midlife is individualised and comprehensive, focusing on the whole person and integrating lifestyle, metabolic health, mental wellbeing and evidence-based medical care. This work is supported by her experience providing women’s health care within a local gynaecology clinic.
Weight management appointments are designed to support metabolic health through an individualised, evidence-based approach. Consultations take the time to understand each person’s unique health history, lifestyle and goals, recognising that weight and metabolic health can be complex and influenced by many factors. The focus is on practical, sustainable strategies that support long-term health, not quick fixes.
These extended appointments allow for a thorough assessment, which may include a detailed health history, physical measurements, review of blood work and medications, and discussion around nutrition and lifestyle. Together, patients and clinicians work on realistic goal setting and explore appropriate medical and lifestyle options, with recommendations such as body composition scanning used where helpful to guide care.
If you have multiple concerns or complex health needs, we may recommend a longer appointment with one of our GPs. Call our friendly reception team who will help guide you.
